Athens’ city centre is only a mere 7 km away from our hotel. There you can stroll about through picturesque neighbourhoods, like Monastiraki, Thissio and Plaka. The city centre also houses the most famous sights, such as the Acropolis, with its unique Museum, the Herodium, Pnyx, the Roman Forum, Zappeion, as well as the most renowned markets in Athens and endless spots for food, drink and nightlife. The Delfini Hotel is exactly the same distance (7 km) in the opposite direction, away from Piraeus, Greece’s largest port, where boats for all Greek islands sail from. Piraeus has also a modern market for all your shopping, a vibrant social life and famous nightlife.
Fun – Entertainment
In the area surrounding the Delfini Hotel there are nice sandy and well organised beaches, but free ones as well, to swim. There also are tasty beach cafés, restaurants, tavernas and night bars with greek and foreign music for all night fun and dance. Areas such as Faliro, the Flisvos Marina and Glyfada offer an up-to-date market for shopping as well as a wide range of food, drink and entertainment outlets, easily accessible from our hotel. A lot of interesting happenings are also taking place at the new Opera House of Athens, located very close to the Delfini Hotel.
